Holiday Giving Tree
The Volunteer Bureau would like to make the holidays a little brighter for you and those you serve. You are invited to participate in the Holiday Giving Tree program. We want to help you fill your seasonal volunteer and donation needs by spreading the word to our community.

In 2006, 124 needs of 25 local human service agencies were filled (many of them were filled multiple times) with the help of the Holiday Giving Tree. Many charitable people in our community made last year's holiday giving tree program a success. It is our hope that even more needs will be met this year.

Would you like to join in the Holiday Giving Tree program this year? If so, simply take a few minutes to let us know what we can request for your agency. A few examples of items from last year are listed below. If your agency has a need this season, the Holiday Giving Tree is a wonderful way to spread the word to hundreds of generous people in our community.

Popular Donation and Volunteer Needs from 2006:
  • Donating children’s toothbrushes and toothpaste.
  • Volunteering to decorate lunch sacks.
  • Donating puzzles.
  • Volunteering to gift wrap presents for residents.
  • Donating towels.
  • Donating kitten and cat food.
To participate, simply fill out the form we've provided below. The Volunteer Bureau will put your needs on ornaments to be displayed at various locations throughout the Lafayette-West Lafayette area and on our website. The trees will be displayed from November 26 until December 26.
