The Volunteer Bureau is a program of the United Way of Greater Lafayette. We are here to connect volunteers and volunteer opportunities. We have opportunities for Individuals and Groups, as well as for Adults and Youth. Volunteers are an important part of how the United Way meets our community's needs. On October 1st, The Home Depot launched the 2008 Community All-Star Program with the NFL and United Way. The Community All-Star program seeks to identify a volunteer who has demonstrated outstanding achievement in community service and who has devoted their time and efforts to making long-lasting contributions to their local communities. United Way of America is promoting the program through our local community and volunteer networks – and helping The Home Depot select the winner.

The 2008 Community All-Star will win a trip to Super Bowl XLIII and will participate in an All-Star community refurbishment project with eight NFL players.
