The 12th Annual Greater Lafayette Volunteer Recognition Luncheon is quickly approaching. This year's luncheon will be held on Thursday, April 17 at 11:30 a.m. at the Holiday Inn Select.

The Luncheon is a great opportunity for you to recognize your volunteers in a tasteful, affordable way. The luncheon includes a sit down lunch, a keynote speaker and an awards ceremony for outstanding volunteers in our community. Your volunteers have a chance to receive a Community Service Excellence Award (many awarded), a prestigious Golden Gift of Time Award (2 awarded), the Marcile Eddy Shining Light Award, or the GLHS Community Impact Award. We'll also be presenting the Tippecanoe Commissioners' Youth Community Service Award. This youth award will go to a student from one of the local schools.

Please take advantage of this opportunity to show your volunteers how special they are to you. To nominate your outstanding volunteer(s) for an award, simply fill out the nomination form. The deadline for nominations is Friday, March 31 at 5 p.m. A panel of judges will select the winners; you will be notified by phone and/or email as to the award(s) your volunteer(s) has/have received. The cost of this year's banquet will be $5 per person ($45 for a table of 9). A separate reservation card for the luncheon must be filled out by April 10 at 12 p.m. to guarantee your seat(s). Please send your payment to the GLVB 1114 E. State St. Lafayette, IN 47905. Reservations cannot be changed after April 14. You will receive a confirmation by way of email/fax for you and your guests.
