Connect Lafayette is a volunteer program that allows neighbors to help neighbors. The program allows residents of the Lafayette area who are elderly or disabled to receive free assistance with tasks they can not complete on their own. Previous volunteer tasks include raking leaves, shoveling snow, mowing lawns, moving furniture, etc.

The GLVB tries hard to match willing volunteers with residents who are in need in the same geographic area.
